On December 17, 2014, View Point Health held an Open House and Ribbon Cutting for Bridgeway Village in Lawrenceville. In partnership with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs’ Permanent Supportive Housing Program, Bridgeway Village provides 30 one bedroom units of housing for persons in recovery from mental illness and addictive disease. Supportive services will be provided on-site to assist persons in recovery to live independently in a permanent setting.

Jennifer Hibbard, CEO of View Point Health, remarked “This has been an amazing journey and its completion means that 30 persons will be able to live independently in their own apartments”. In attendance at the Ribbon Cutting was Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge Karen Byers who commented that “Housing is desperately needed, and I’m thrilled that persons in Mental Health Court here in Gwinnett County will have access to permanent housing”.
