Trauma Focused Keystones Learning Collaborative

The View Point Health Child and Adolescent (C&A) team has been selected to participate in the Trauma Focused Keystones Learning Collaborative sponsored by the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy. Lauren Alexander, Mollie Innocent, and Yuki Reese will participate in the TF-CBT Keystone Learning Collaborative which builds on the TF-CBT training that the team recently completed. The focus for the next 9 months will be developing Trauma Focused skills when treating commercially sexually exploited children (CSEC). The Learning Collaborative will include a 2-day training with Laura Murray, PhD, an approved TF-CBT trainer, monthly consultation calls with Dr. Murray, follow-up training opportunities, a collaborative workspace for sharing ideas and resources, and additional activities to support successful learning and implementation. A major aim is for therapists to be able to implement and sustain TF-CBT with CSEC clients and improve outcomes for CSEC victims and their families.
